It's the New Year and it’s a beautiful time to reflect and give thanks for all that has happened for us in the past year! It is also a time of new beginnings. Although we can choose at any moment to begin again, the new year seems to symbolize a fresh start and carries an almost palpable feeling of strength and motivation.
2018 offers countless blessings in many forms for us all. To help harness those blessing we can take inspired action by creating a compass for ourselves while we navigate this new territory. Our compass comes in the form of INTENTIONS.
Setting intentions for the year helps keep us on track, focused, and in alignment with our desires and purpose. Without a destination or desire in mind, you are essentially a ship at sea going wherever the wind blows you. There’s a saying that goes “if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything”. Likewise, if you don’t have an intention or goal than anything that comes your way “will do”.
The best way to set your year up for success is to identify the core desired feeling you would like to experience and embody.
By becoming clear about how you want to feel you can better align yourself to live and experience your dreams. Essentially shifting your life experiences and allowing your inspiration to come from within rather than from an external source.
